President

Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from University of the Philippines (UP Diliman). He began his career in the financial industry in 1994, and worked as an Account Officer in the Corporate Banking division at Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation in the Philippines. After moving to Canada, he was introduced to the insurance world in 2009. From then on, Michael has been an active insurance agent receiving multiple awards.

Sheila Carino

Vice President

Sheila graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, major in Economics from St. Scholastica's College in Manila, Philippines. She worked as a Customer Service Representative at Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation. Sheila worked alongside Michael as an insurance agent since 2009.

  • To become licensed, follow these four steps:

    Step 1: Pass the Course
    Complete the required course to qualify for the provincial licensing exams.

    Step 2: Pass the Exams
    Write and pass the four provincial licensing exams — they follow the same format as your certification exams.

    Step 3: Get Sponsored
    Before applying for your license, a life insurance company must agree to sponsor you.

    Step 4: Get Licensed
    Once sponsored, the life insurance company will submit your license application to the provincial regulator on your behalf.

  • Licensing Course ranges from $218CAD to $498CAD through a partnership with REMIC.

  • Based on previous candidates, the fastest someone has obtained their license was in one month.

  • Income can vary, but top earners have the potential to make a significant income.
